How to Read a Vape Product Label

How to Read a Vape Product Label

Guide A vape label should help readers identify the product, understand the contents, and spot claims that need verification.

Identity first

Start with product name, manufacturer, model, flavor, nicotine strength, e-liquid amount, batch or lot code, warning labels, and market-specific identifiers where available.

If a label makes the product difficult to identify, that is already a product-trust issue.

Claims second

Look for puff count, battery capacity, coil type, leak resistance, charging claims, nicotine claims, and “smart” features. These claims can be useful, but they should be treated as questions for review or testing.

A label is not the same as proof.

Regulatory context

Different markets have different labeling and notification expectations. VapeRisk guides will explain those expectations without turning label reading into legal advice.
